Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP) is a mission-driven organization committed to empowering individuals and communities. We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications, and offer follow-up care to CCAP clients in need of non-emergency psychiatric services. This role requires a licensed, autonomous provider who can execute professional clinical judgment according to agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site patient care and staff consultation
  • Prescribe medications and offer follow-up care
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
  • Current DEA and MCSR license, as well as DEA Waiver for Medication-Assisted Treatment
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Active or soon eligible nurse practitioner license in Rhode Island
  • One year of experience working in a community health center setting highly desirable
Working Conditions:

This position requires moderate physical activity, including walking, standing, and stooping. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, respiratory diseases, and other infectious diseases requires adherence to universal standard precautions.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
