Cognitive Assessment Specialist

Job Summary: Synectics seeks an experienced Cognitive Assessment Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed psychologist with expertise in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
About the Role: As a Cognitive Assessment Specialist at Synectics, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality services to clients of all ages, from 6 to 65 years old.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Collaborate with our team to provide integrated care, addressing clients' complex needs and promoting optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, using electronic health record systems to document client progress and communication
- Stay current with research, best practices, and industry developments, ensuring your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date
Requirements: To succeed as a Cognitive Assessment Specialist at Synectics, you should possess:
- A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field
- Licensure as a psychologist in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut
- 1-3 years of experience in psychological testing and assessment
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Mastery of electronic health record systems and documentation techniques
