As a Manager in our Business Tax Services practice, you will oversee client portfolios of various size and scope within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate and/or hedge funds).

Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients, manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects, assess tax impact on clients of rules and law changes, develop tax arguments to support conclusions and make recommendations to clients.

Facilitate risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and the budget for projects, deliver high quality tax services to clients.

Minimum five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry, Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.

Proficient in the taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures, excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information.

Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year.
