Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I-Ear Nose Throat to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy procedures, to support OR cases. Your expertise will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy procedures, with moderate complexity.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special X-ray procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure optimal department results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues to facilitate providing the highest quality service.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer certification.
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job.
  • Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
