Our audiologists collaborate closely with medical professionals while enjoying their professional independence and managing their patient caseload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Audiologist, your primary responsibilities will include performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments for both adult and pediatric patients, conducting hearing aid consultations, fitting and verifying hearing aids, and providing patient education regarding hearing loss and assistive devices. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical system.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and train support staff and audiology externs, enhancing the overall team dynamic.
Other clinical and administrative responsibilities may involve tinnitus management, VNG/ENG interpretation, and active participation in departmental committees.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas State Licensure
- AuD or Master's Degree in Audiology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ENT practice or similar setting
- Preferred 2 years of experience in hearing aid dispensing
