Job Summary:
As a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will perform complex preventative maintenance and troubleshoot a diverse range of equipment, including trucks and heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, you will need to successfully complete the following tasks:
- Conduct repairs on various equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, and more.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
- Follow preventative maintenance checklists and maintain accurate records including work orders and service logs.
- Service additional equipment like light plants, water pumps, and welders as required.
- Adhere to site-specific procedures and complete other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Education: Not mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) years in a relevant field.
Licenses: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. This includes the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, twist, and work in various environmental conditions.
Work Environment:
Work may involve exposure to dirt, noise, and weather extremes. Safety practices are strictly enforced to ensure the well-being of all employees.
