About CornerBrooke LLC:
As a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), we provide Professional Services in the Federal Marketplace, offering a unique opportunity for a skilled Onboarding Specialist to join our team.
This fully remote role requires a professional who can support the HR department with various Onboarding activities, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extend offers of employment and draft offer letters for applicants.
- Request employment records from losing agencies and respond to applicant inquiries in a timely manner.
- Process Accession SF-52's and compute Service Computation Dates for new employees.
- Execute HR Information Systems and databases for reporting purposes.
- Track new hires and coordinate with federal HR specialists and security offices.
- Update databases and close out case files efficiently.
- Support high-profile recruitment activities and complete job analyses with hiring managers.
- Post job announcements on USAJobs and follow project-specific SOPs to ensure compliance.
- Verify eligibility claims and prepare certificates/referral lists electronically.
- Audit returned certificates and send disposition notices.
- Maintain examining casefiles and answer applicant phone calls and written correspondence professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Federal onboarding and staffing activities.
- Experience using personnel data systems such as NFC and/or FPPS.
- Bachelor's degree required; prior coding and processing of Accessions utilizing EmpowHR or similar systems preferred.
- Apply and interpret Federal HR laws and policies effectively.
- Attention to detail and data integrity are essential in this role.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to obtain government-required security clearance.
- Organized and able to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Compensation Package: The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
