Role SummaryThe Safety and Facilities Compliance Supervisor is tasked with the critical responsibility of ensuring that all safety protocols and initiatives are effectively implemented across various programs. This role is essential in supporting program management through the creation and execution of tailored safety plans and procedures, aimed at fostering a secure environment for all individuals in care and staff.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to achieving objectives within set timelines. This individual should demonstrate strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to work independently, addressing challenges and devising innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operation, upkeep, and administration of shelter facilities.
- Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Maintain facilities to a high standard to support operational needs.
- Guide maintenance personnel in executing project tasks effectively.
- Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement emergency response strategies.
- Coordinate training and drills for staff to effectively manage emergencies.
- Supervise facility-related projects, including renovations and significant repairs.
- Ensure project completion aligns with timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities, including routine upkeep and system upgrades.
- Implement best practices in fleet management, inventory control, vehicle maintenance, risk management, and asset disposal.
- Formulate internal policies regarding fleet management.
- Provide training on building maintenance and safety standards to enhance staff knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- OSHA certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
