Job Summary
FedEx is seeking a skilled Package Movement Specialist to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver/Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving packages throughout our facilities.
Responsibilities
* Operate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages
* Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle
* Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth package movement
Requirements
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
* Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours
* Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours
* Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders
* Ability to work with power and hand tools
* Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment
Working Conditions
* Non-covered safety sensitive position
* Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
* Medical exam required in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of FedEx policies and procedures
