Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain accurate histories relevant to the examination.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless care.
- Independently perform clinical diagnostic examinations and prepare rooms as needed.
- Exercise good judgment in all aspects of job performance and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
- Provide basic patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six months to one year of post-registry experience preferred.
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state licensure.
