Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain accurate histories relevant to the examination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless care.
  • Independently perform clinical diagnostic examinations and prepare rooms as needed.
  • Exercise good judgment in all aspects of job performance and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
  • Provide basic patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six months to one year of post-registry experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state licensure.
