MRI Technologist

Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a high level of quality and timeliness. You will also be responsible for escorting patients to treatment rooms, assisting with dressings, and completing all necessary paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
Escort patients to treatment rooms and assist with dressings as necessary.
Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure timely delivery of MRI services.
Explain MRI procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
Administer I.V. contrast and practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
Requirements:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ARRT (R) (MR) certification and Connecticut licensure required.
Two years of clinical experience in all MRI procedure types.
Siemens, GE experience preferred.
