Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a high level of quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform MRI procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
- Escort patients to treatment rooms and assist with dressings as necessary.
- Complete all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of MRI services.
- Explain MRI procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
- Administer I.V. contrast.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Complete related paperwork and obtain interpretation by radiologist.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- ARRT (R) (MR) certification and Connecticut licensure required.
- Two years of clinical experience in all MRI procedure types.
- Siemens, GE experience preferred.
