Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Statue Cruises. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants onboard our cruises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the front-of-the-house staff, including recruitment, training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Provide assistance to restaurant managers during shifts and ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Assist in gathering pertinent cruise event details to ensure special guest requests are fulfilled.
  • Participate in conducting pre-cruise meetings and communicate necessary information to front-line staff.
  • Ensure staff and guests adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
  • Ensure staff is trained and consistently follows proper alcohol service guidelines.
  • Ensure all staff consistently follows health department sanitation codes and requirements.
  • Resolve guest service issues using strong guest service skills.
  • Observe and recommend line-staff for further training and development.
  • Recommend approved programs to improve service and product quality.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years guest service experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • TIPS Certification required.
  • Health department sanitation codes and requirements ServSafe Certification required.
