UHC Patient Care Tech Certified-5 South

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Patient Care Technician to join our team at UHC United Hospital Center. As a Certified Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and report all patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
- Assist the Registered Nurse with admission, transfer, discharge, and general patient care duties.
- Record vital signs, assist with personal hygiene, and provide other patient comfort measures.
- Assist in specimen collection and other activities of assigned patients.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment to prevent and control infections and ensure patient, visitor, and employee safety.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Current WV Certified Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of hospital-based certification program.
- Prior patient care experience.
