Job Title: UHC Registered Nurse 6 South

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at United Hospital Center. As a Registered Nurse on 6 South, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse on 6 South is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
