The Service Manager ensures that all customer concerns are addressed satisfactorily by collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer requirements and resolve issues or arrange technician visits as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to accurately track and bill all expenses related to service operations.
  • Design and implement training programs for service technicians.
  • Participate actively in the recruitment and training of new service staff.
  • Provide design recommendations aimed at minimizing field issues and reducing costs.
  • Maintain organized documentation and project records to facilitate analysis and future reference.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and functional workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Essential experience in the Asphalt/Boiler sector.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to identify issues and propose viable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, along with proven mechanical skills, including basic assembly and wiring knowledge.
  • Commitment to safety protocols with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to address customer issues, assist with start-ups, and conduct field service and burner application testing.
  • Engage positively with customers to resolve field challenges, meeting their needs while minimizing company costs and liabilities.
  • Ability to translate customer feedback into research and development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in combustion design, including strategies for enhancing stability, emissions, efficiency, firing rate control, and cost management.
