Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will:
• Conduct programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of HVAC control systems, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control components.
• Respond to service and warranty inquiries utilizing Johnson Controls' configuration tools and a variety of hand tools, including electrical testing meters.

• Provide front-line technical support and repair assistance through effective communication with our clients.
• Offer recommendations for system repairs and updates, assisting clients in understanding their options.

• Engage with a team of top technicians in the industry while building a rewarding career with a leading global organization.

How You Will Achieve This:
• Load and configure Johnson Controls field and network-level controller software.
• Perform commissioning and diagnostics for all system controllers and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators) while completing necessary documentation.
• Keep management and clients informed of job progress and any issues that arise.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks, including time sheets and expense reports.

• Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
• Participate in company-sponsored and self-initiated training to maintain high levels of knowledge and capability.
• Communicate effectively with clients upon arrival and before departing the work site.
• Adhere to all safety standards and participate in required safety training, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.

What We Seek:
Required:
• Completion of a Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field, along with three years of industry experience, or 2+ years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems within the HVAC sector.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical disciplines.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment such as multimeters.

• Solid knowledge of personal computer applications.
• Attention to detail and strong communication and listening skills.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22 to $29, determined by the applicant's education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
