Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Toiyabe Indian Health Project, Inc. in Bishop, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee financial operations and internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure efficient financial management.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive financial decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage financial audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the financial team in implementing new financial technologies and tools.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience in budget forecasting and acquisitions.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • Strong skills in risk management and strategy development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record of successful financial management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing financial landscapes and industry trends.
  • Experience in managing investment portfolios and financial assets.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
