The Engineering Department in Tucson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The department focuses on Municipal, Mining, and Water/Wastewater projects. This position plays a significant role in developing and mentoring newer engineers and technical professionals. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build market share by fostering relationships with current and future clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and mentoring Professional Engineers (PEs), Engineers In Training (EITs), and other technical staff
  • Creating and developing written proposals; some technical writing may be required
  • Developing and managing water and wastewater design projects, including designing water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pumps stations, lift stations, piping and conveyance systems, and other water/wastewater system components
  • Overseeing hydraulic models and master plans
  • Managing and coordinating deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants
  • Facilitating communication and delivering information between WestLand Resources, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
