About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Administrator to join our team at Gadzo Law, P.C.

Job Description:

A successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing complex trust and estate matters. This includes comprehensive trust administration, expert document preparation, tax compliance and filings, client and court interaction, legal research, and technology utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Trust Administration: Manage all aspects of trust administration, including probate matters, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and file essential legal documents, such as Probate Petitions, Court Accountings, and Trust Transfer Deeds.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax returns, 706 Forms, and 709 Forms to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, courts, attorneys, and county agencies, providing clear communication throughout the administration process.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant codes and procedures, including California Probate Code, Family Code, and Welfare & Institutions Code.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have 8-10 years of experience in trust and estate administration, with a deep understanding of fiduciary accounting, probate processes, and legal document preparation. You should also possess extensive knowledge of California law, particularly in probate and trust administration.
