Job Summary:

As a Housekeeping Team Lead at Vail Resorts, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Your attention to detail and ability to lead a team will make a significant impact on our guests' experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and assign room assignments for daily cleaning service to guest rooms, common areas, and commercial spaces.
  • Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms, and enter into the property management system.
  • Submit work orders as needed and ensure excellent internal and external guest experience.
  • Emphasize safety culture among staff and keep them informed of safety policies and procedures.
  • Train new employees on safety, room directions/specifications, stocking carts, and ergonomics.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Enforce policies and procedures and direct the department when housekeeping managers are not present.
Requirements:
  • Valid US driver's license required.
  • 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred, guest service or hospitality a plus.
  • Ability to communicate in English, bilingual a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours, while consistently bending and lifting.
