Job Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a small team of employees or shift. The primary goal is to ensure each task is completed to the expected level of quality. The Supervisor must have the ability to guide the team, be cross-trained in all tasks, and adapt quickly to new circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Time Keeping: Receive, review, and file signing sheets, and coordinate daily time records with Project Manager and Corporate staff.
  • Email and Text Communication: Manage staff communication and coordinate with clients.
  • ITA: Work with clients to schedule periodic work and report completion.
  • Inspect and Correct: Inspect buildings and take corrective action on incomplete tasks.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies as needed.
  • Emergency Procedures: Manage emergency procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and reach, bend, lift, and pull.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines within the industry to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage supervisory staff, planning budgets, reviewing expenses, cutting costs, monitoring inventory, and looking for new ways to scale growth and increase profitability.
Working Conditions

This position requires work outside the office environment and may involve non-standard hours. A valid driver's license is required, and a criminal record check is necessary.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
