Job Title: Integrated Pest Management Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Pest Management Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our IPM team and ensure effectiveness and efficiency in cultivation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive IPM plans, managing the IPM team, and ensuring compliance with state medical cannabis regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the IPM team to ensure effective and efficient pest management practices.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IPM plans, including biocontrols, beneficial insects, natural predators, trapping, vacuuming, and spraying.
  • Monitor plant growth and behavior response to feeding elements and verify and document pest and disease infestation trends.
  • Communicate field availability and quality issues to the production and management team on a daily basis.
  • Facilitate trials on new commercial products prior to applying to the entire crop.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure cleanliness, adherence to all food safety policies and procedures, and organization within the greenhouse.
  • Work successfully alongside department team members and maintain proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly reviews for team members.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of cannabis greenhouse experience.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site 5 days a week.
  • Ability to work in 85+ degree temperatures with up to 80% humidity levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and team environment.
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Ability to maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
  • Strong work ethics - be accountable and proactive.
  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to follow specific protocols and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

Reasonable Accommodations:

  • This role will ask that you sit, walk, bend, scoop, twist, and reach throughout your entire shift. There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc. Please be flexible as needs will change.
  • This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted.
  • As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
