Position Summary

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding service and fostering a positive shopping and sales environment for all customers. The following responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain strong business relationships with customers.
  • Execute sales transactions efficiently.
  • Advise and promote products relevant to the customer's needs.
  • Handle customer returns accurately.
  • Provide assistance in the warehouse as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service abilities and a collaborative spirit.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive attitude in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Demonstrate efficiency and urgency in task completion.
  • Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Experience with dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable using a 6 ft ladder while carrying heavy products.
Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Previous sales or related experience is preferred.

Experience in HVAC or parts distribution is a plus.

Must successfully complete a drug test and physical examination.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with scheduling based on business requirements.

Compensation

The starting minimum pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with the final offer dependent on experience.
