Your Role:

As the Commission Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance team, overseeing the comprehensive commission planning process. You will ensure the precise and timely distribution of commissions and serve as the primary contact for inquiries, escalations, and necessary adjustments. This position involves managing the commission tool and providing leadership updates on performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage sales commission plans within the compensation software, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of payments.
  • Handle any commission plans that require manual administration outside the compensation tool.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Finance, and Human Resources, to establish and uphold effective commission processes and policies.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s commission structures, including metrics, targets, and payout frameworks.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to guarantee accurate data collection and integration within the compensation tool.
  • Conduct regular audits and analyses of commission data to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance to sales and account management teams regarding commission plans and calculations.
  • Generate reports and analyze commission plan performance, tracking individual and team achievements against set targets.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices in commission administration and recommend enhancements to existing processes.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit department and external consultants to optimize the compensation system for accuracy and usability.
  • Maintain confidential records of commission plans and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales compensation role.
  • Experience working with senior executives or key decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation software, with a preference for Xactly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, and strong data visualization skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for communicating complex information clearly.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
