The ideal candidate will work across the organization to develop and implement Data Governance practices, ensuring data quality and integrity. They will collaborate with Finance and Business Intelligence teams to provide accurate data to stakeholders.

As a subject matter expert in Data Management, the successful candidate will maximize the value of data input, analysis, and business intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data integrity in corporate master and transactional data sets, including Customer, Product, Contract, Asset, Vendor, User, Contacts, and Addresses/Locations.
  • Conduct data profiling, quality assessment, and cleansing to ensure data conforms to specifications and meets business needs.
  • Audit critical fields in key data sets, ensuring data complies with naming standards and data definitions.
  • Identify inconsistencies within and across systems, and recommend remedies.
  • Run regular quality inspections of data and create data quality improvement projects.
  • Develop and communicate business rules for creating, updating, and inactivating records.
  • Refine and document business rules to prevent future errors.
  • Collaborate with the end-user community to enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with data quality standards.
  • Manage and monitor data change requests, including account merges, client ID updates, and relationship/LOB changes.
  • Document and improve Business Processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Data Analytics, Management, or related fields.
  • Ability to perform research using the Internet.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using logical and analytical processes.
  • Effective communication skills tailored to audience and materials.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
