Ultrasound Supervisor Job Description

Optum New York is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY. As a member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical leadership and oversight to our fast-paced radiology practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage technologist schedules to optimize workflow and ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate daily with department staff to address staffing issues and adjustments.
  • Perform clinical exams as needed and coordinate add-on exams to maximize workflow.
  • Assist in developing clinical protocols and maintaining accreditation standards.
  • Lead employee relations, including evaluations, corrective action, and time cards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
  • AART certification/licensure.
  • 3+ years of experience as a technologist and 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
