Ultrasound Supervisor Opportunity at Optum

Optum, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing clinical, organizational, and leadership support to our fast-paced multimodality radiology practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective workflow strategies to maximize clinical services and optimize departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front desk staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform clinical exams as needed and maintain high-quality standards in ultrasound imaging.
  • Coordinate and approve add-on exams to maximize workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain clinical protocols, quality assurance programs, and accreditation processes.
  • Lead employee relations, including evaluations, corrective action, and time card management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict data protection policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.
  • AART certification/licensure and 3+ years of experience as a technologist and supervisor.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of radiology standards, ultrasound protocols, and quality assurance principles.
