Ultrasound Supervisor Job Description

Optum is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY. As a member of our Radiology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our multimodality radiology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly technologist schedules to optimize workflow and ensure maximum clinical services.
  • Communicate daily department staffing issues and adjustments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform clinical exams as needed and coordinate add-on "STAT" exams to maximize workflow.
  • Assist in the development of clinical protocols and lead the preparation and submission of ACR accreditations.
  • Independently resolve issues and coordinate departmental resources to facilitate workflow.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, business administration, or related field.
  • AART certification/licensure and 3+ years of experience as a technologist and supervisor.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to function independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain a well-organized approach to all systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all staff and physicians.
