Position Overview:

The role of Emerging Technology Strategist is focused on business development and is contingent upon contract award.

In this capacity, you will conduct research, provide analysis, and implement services to support the integration of cutting-edge technologies within the USINDOPACOM theater. Your responsibilities will include planning, recommending requirements, and designing architectural models and prototypes to evaluate the effectiveness of advanced tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

JOURNEYMAN LEVEL: This level requires 3 to 10 years of relevant experience along with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman typically operates independently across all functional duties.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI is required.

Physical Demands: The position necessitates extensive use of computing systems, including PCs or laptops. It may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from screens. Candidates must possess sufficient mobility for tasks such as bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling. There may be a need to climb or work in confined spaces. The role may also require lifting and transporting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Due to the location of work, moderate to long-distance walking may be necessary, along with potential travel to various sites.

Work Environment: The typical setting is an office, which may include cubicles with considerations for close quarters, moderate noise levels, and varying lighting conditions. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and management at all levels is essential. The role generally involves minimal travel, estimated at up to 10%.

Equipment Proficiency: Candidates should be adept at operating standard office equipment, including personal computers, printers, copiers, and telephones, as well as utilizing desk supplies and other necessary tools.

Attendance Expectations: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is crucial for meeting deadlines and participating in meetings. Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate urgent mission needs.

Professional Conduct: It is imperative to exhibit professionalism at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Grooming and attire must be suitable for the role and not pose safety risks. Maintaining a positive work environment through professional behavior and communication is expected. Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary, and travel to customer locations may be required. Compliance with safety regulations, including the use of seat belts and the prohibition of mobile device use while driving, is mandatory. Candidates must successfully complete a drug test and background check. A commitment to fostering teamwork and cooperation is essential.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $101,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations. Individual compensation will be determined based on work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
