Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Allmark Door Company LLC. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical service to our clients, ensuring their commercial doors and related equipment are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs on commercial doors, including high-speed doors, roll-up and sliding fire doors, overhead coiling and sliding dock levelers, and dock seals and shelters.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems onsite, using basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools.

  • Assist with completion of project tickets, including field notes and completion photos, and update details of work performed, parts used, and services needed.

  • Analyze and respond professionally to customer concerns, annotating them in our internal system.

  • Organize tools and parts at job sites and on trucks.

  • Disassemble or remove parts and equipment for maintenance or repair.

  • Install hardware or other interior fixtures.

  • Run wiring to connect equipment.

  • Lubricate equipment to ensure proper functioning.

  • Test mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and adjust equipment as needed.

  • Observe and adhere to all safety policies, identifying and reporting unsafe work practices or conditions.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work well under pressure.

  • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related communication tools.
