Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sterile production processes within a GMP cleanroom setting, adhering to strict aseptic protocols.
  • Prepare production areas by executing line clearances, thorough cleaning, and calibration of instruments.
  • Collect, prepare, and organize necessary materials for the manufacturing process.
  • Operate and maintain radiosynthesizer chemistry equipment and automated dispensing systems to ensure timely drug product release.
  • Support manufacturing investigations and facilitate technology transfers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and manage work schedules and calendars.
  • Complete batch records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines during all preparation and production activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisitions for low-stock items.
  • Conduct essential package testing for the release of radiopharmaceuticals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree is required, unless there is exceptional experience in pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Entry-level candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical aptitude is essential, with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and work with various software applications.
  • A willingness to learn and openness to constructive feedback are crucial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with potential occupational radiation exposure (training will be provided).
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) is necessary.
  • Experience with aseptic gowning and cleanroom operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
