About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager 2 to join our team at Augusta University. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing various operational, financial, research, and personnel functions for the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, budgets, and documentation, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee department recruitment, manage department support staff, and provide administrative support to faculty and staff.
  • Monitor and maintain department accounts, address budget errors, and set up non-sponsored accounts in PeopleSoft.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis of available discretionary funding and submit necessary approvals for extra duty compensation.
  • Process HR documentation, complete PCFs, CHJFs, SBARs, and enter postings in OneUSG and Peoplesoft.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and three years of administrative management experience.
  • Working knowledge of AU policies and procedures, and experience with PeopleSoft.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
