We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Service Center Representative to join our team at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, building relationships, and promoting credit union products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Member Service: Respond to incoming calls, greet members, and provide relevant information regarding transactions, products, and services via telephone. Take responsibility for fulfilling member service requests, including account opening, access services, maintenance, wires, and loan applications.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a commitment to learning and thoroughly understanding all credit union deposit and loan products and services.
- Problem-Solving: De-escalate challenging member situations by problem-solving, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills while demonstrating a special effort to say yes.
- Relationship Building: Actively engage in the relationship-building process through educating and referring Credit Union products and services.
- Transaction Processing: Perform individual settlement procedures, balances daily transactions, and assists with department balancing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- One year of related experience is required. Call-center experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills, including positive tone and explaining financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to understand and communicate products, services, and regulations.
