Job Overview

The Sales Project Coordinator plays a vital role within the sales division, focusing on the ongoing oversight of projects and driving revenue enhancement. This position is integral to sales efforts, ensuring timely execution of projects that support telecommunications infrastructure, particularly in the realm of 5G technology.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines; a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience in navigating complex sales cycles and managing project deliverables.
  • Proficient in Excel and SharePoint; familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Experience in project management within an electrical enclosure manufacturing context.
  • Ability to interpret general 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with a high volume of design projects.
  • Willingness to work fully onsite (this position does not offer remote work).
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with clients to gather essential information for project deliverables and other sales-related matters.
  • Review engineering drawings or concept designs provided by customers for technical insights and relay to engineering teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project progress.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept through engineering and production stages to final delivery.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional revenue generation.
  • Monitor production capacity and notify relevant team members of any issues.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering to enhance scheduling and planning processes.
  • Manage budget reviews and document any overages on both active and completed projects.
  • Participate in weekly meetings focused on production and scheduling.
  • Possess experience with ISO 9001 regarding process documentation and system audits.
  • Work alongside the Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety committee to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
