Job Summary

Hilton Sandestin Beach is seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for all who visit our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner, employing sales techniques to secure and process reservations in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area attractions.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, maximizing room occupancy and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, including operating facsimile machines, verifying credit card authorizations, and assisting with PBX operations.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively deal with customers, some of whom may require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to listen effectively and speak English clearly over the telephone.
  • Ability to access, read, and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and patrons.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
