Nurse Supervisor

Maple Manor Christian Home Inc is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the total nursing activity of a specified area during your tour of duty.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Care: Delegate responsibility to nursing personnel for the direct care of specific residents based on their psychological, social, spiritual, and physical needs.
- Medication Management: Count narcotics at the beginning and end of each shift, administer and chart medications as ordered, and perform accu checks.
- Resident Care Planning: Plan and supervise rehabilitative and restorative programs in conjunction with the DON to help residents reach their maximum level of function.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain harmonious relationships with ancillary personnel and residents, and actively participate on committees to gain knowledge and share information.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Record all observations, medications, and treatments accurately, concisely, and completely in the medical record.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an approved school of nursing and current license of good standing in Indiana.
- Leadership and Organizational Abilities: Possess leadership and organizational abilities, and have a genuine interest and concern for the long-term residents.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate well and establish good interpersonal relationships.
