Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our pediatric hematology/oncology team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to children and families affected by cancer and blood disorders.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients with pediatric cancer diagnoses, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Manage prescriptions, infusions, and coordinate home care needs, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education, addressing concerns and promoting healthy behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with consulting services, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department research, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.
- Utah license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Utah State Controlled Substance license.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Preferred: prior clinical experience in pediatric hematology/oncology.
