Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to become an integral part of our Pediatric Critical Care unit. This role focuses on delivering exceptional care to patients within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

As a leader in pediatric healthcare, our facility caters to a diverse range of patients, from infants to young adults, who require specialized attention for severe health conditions. Our team collaborates closely with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals, allowing you to practice at the highest level of your licensure while contributing to the development of care strategies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and maintaining health
  • Conducting assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations
  • Providing education to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Prescribing and administering medications
  • Documenting clinical interventions
  • Engaging in continuous learning to enhance patient care

Moreover, you may participate in research initiatives, evidence-based practices, protocol formulation, and establishing best practice standards for our patient demographic.

Essential Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License II through V
  • Eligibility for Federal DEA Certificate II through V
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Additional certifications as necessary, such as PALS
