Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at The State of Oklahoma. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient health status, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Develop and present educational programs to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Valid Oklahoma license as a registered nurse, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Two years of professional nursing experience in a field of nursing appropriate to the healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques, as well as health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Ability to assess patient condition and needs, develop and implement effective care plans, and provide education and training to patients and staff.
