Position Overview:
At OSF HealthCare, we are excited to offer multiple sign-on bonus options for our Physical Therapist role, including:

$5,000 for a one-year commitment
$10,000 for a two-year commitment
$20,000 for a three-year commitment

Our outpatient multidisciplinary team is dedicated to evaluating and treating a diverse range of patient populations and diagnoses. We have specialists in orthopedics, neurology, vestibular therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and lymphedema management. Our team comprises 12 Physical Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapists, 2 Speech-Language Pathologists, and 2 rehabilitation technicians across three clinic locations.

Our primary site is affiliated with a well-established medical center, ensuring a supportive environment for our clinicians.

We pride ourselves on our collaborative and dynamic team, focused on maximizing functional outcomes and assisting patients in achieving their personal health goals through personalized, evidence-based care.

OSF Rehabilitation is committed to fostering professional growth, offering paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and a 401k plan with a dollar-for-dollar match on the first 5% of salary. Additionally, our organization qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program.

Compensation for this position is competitive, with an expected rate of $50.50 per hour, determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.

Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in assisting patients to restore their physical function through comprehensive evaluation and tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of a valid state license in Physical Therapy or recent graduates who have received an Authorization to Test Letter and are scheduled to take the licensure exam within 60 days of eligibility. A verifiable state license must be obtained within one year of hire.
CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire.
A valid state driver's license must be verified through the respective state Department of Motor Vehicles.

Other Skills/Knowledge:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft software, is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist is highly desirable.
Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate patient care for the population served.


Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with patients, families, and other members of the treatment team.


Analytical skills to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans, and document patient progress are crucial.

Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to process detailed information accurately are also important.
