OSF HealthCare is dedicated to providing exceptional outpatient rehabilitation services. Our multidisciplinary team evaluates and treats a diverse range of patient populations and diagnoses within the metropolitan area. Our skilled clinicians specialize in various fields, including orthopedics, neurology, vestibular therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and lymphedema management.

Our team comprises 12 Physical Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapists, 2 Speech-Language Pathologists, and 2 rehabilitation technicians across three clinic locations.

Our primary facility is located within a well-established medical center, complemented by additional locations that provide comprehensive physical therapy services. Our collaborative and dynamic team is committed to maximizing functional outcomes and assisting patients in achieving their personal rehabilitation goals through personalized, evidence-based care.

Professional Development
OSF Rehabilitation fosters a supportive environment for clinicians, offering opportunities for professional growth, including paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and a 401k plan with a dollar-for-dollar match on the first 5% of salary. Additionally, OSF Healthcare is eligible for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program.

We value our employees from day one. Candidates with over five years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of vacation and holiday time available for use from the start of employment, in addition to our generous time-off benefits.

Compensation
The expected pay for this position is $50.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in assisting patients with the restoration of physical function through comprehensive evaluation and targeted treatment.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
Licenses/Certifications:
  • State license in Physical Therapy or eligibility to test for licensure
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Valid state driver's license
Other Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and solid computer skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Ability to provide patient care appropriate to the served population
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical skills to evaluate patients' physical and functional status
  • Strong computer skills with attention to detail
