Job Overview

The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of daily production activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and enforce all established safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.
  • Lead safety initiatives by developing training programs, conducting safety meetings, and promoting employee engagement in safety practices.
  • Implement quality assurance measures by addressing customer feedback, coordinating product qualifications, and participating in quality audits.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Analyze operational reports across departments to ensure manufacturing costs align with budgetary expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to identify improvements in systems and reduce supply chain costs.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies to meet both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Manage the production planning process to fulfill customer demands effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to optimize the use of plant resources.
  • Act as the Project Manager for new equipment initiatives within the plant.
  • Participate in regular inventory assessments in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Oversee the formulation and execution of strategic and tactical plans to drive plant and company objectives.
  • Utilize Operational Excellence tools to promote continuous improvement across various departments.
  • Encourage a collaborative and open work environment.
  • May undertake special projects related to other functional areas.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field along with experience in plant management or engineering is required. A minimum of five years in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing setting, showcasing strong leadership capabilities, is preferred. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and Kaizen principles is advantageous.

Experience in welding, fabrication, or overhead crane operations is considered a significant asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year + Bonus
