Compensation: $20.00 dependent on experience

General Summary

This position involves significant physical labor.

Responsibilities include the handling and arrangement of substantial quantities of facility furnishings such as chairs, tables, stanchions, wall panels, dollies, and related equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

The role requires decision-making skills regarding the transport and arrangement of equipment for safety and efficiency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Examine event documentation for area setups and dismantling
  • Coordinate the movement of equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Guide and oversee others in the operation of facility equipment
  • Maintain inventory in designated storage areas
  • Supervise on-call personnel as needed
  • Operate material handling equipment when necessary
  • Ensure appropriate stock of supplies is maintained
  • Complete event-related time documentation forms
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred
  • Customer Service experience, preferred
  • Industry experience, preferred

  • Self-motivated, capable of completing tasks independently
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills across all staff levels and clientele. Provide customer service in a professional and considerate manner
  • Work effectively with diverse groups within the organization
  • Perform job tasks efficiently, even under sudden deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Maintain a strong record of dependability, reliability, and integrity
  • Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English
