Position Overview:
The Operations and Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing and addressing the administrative requirements of the organization.

This role encompasses a variety of tasks including the general maintenance and management of the facility, scheduling service appointments, maintaining access control systems, snow removal, landscaping, and other facility-related functions.

Additional responsibilities include file management, kitchen upkeep, inventory tracking, preparing tables and graphs for reports and presentations, implementing document updates, assisting with meeting and event logistics by arranging equipment and seating, and ensuring smooth office operations.

This position also provides backup and support for administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor repairs (battery replacements, hanging artwork, painting, troubleshooting auto-sinks and toilets, etc.)

Oversee and coordinate general maintenance of the facility, including occasional snow removal, litter collection around the premises, kitchen and restroom cleaning, lawn care, meeting room preparation, and upkeep of common areas as necessary.

Monitor requests related to building issues such as access control, parking, telecommunication, printing, temperature control, and other necessary functions.
Coordinate state-wide improvements and maintenance requests under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Provide exceptional internal customer service in response to employee inquiries.
Track postage/copier/printer usage and manage supplies.
Create and distribute company identification badges.
Update and maintain inventory of computers, furniture, and keys.
Monitor equipment and supplies.
Foster positive client relations.
Participate regularly in company meetings.
Ensure accurate and timely tracking of expenses and time.
Utilize company equipment and resources responsibly.
Provide regular written and verbal updates to company/project managers regarding task progress.
Assess workload and availability while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, demonstrating strong communication skills, multitasking ability, coordination, and effectiveness.
A valid Colorado Driver's license is required, and the ability to be covered by company vehicle insurance is necessary.

Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Education:
An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Equipment and Materials Used:
Standard office equipment including computer workstations, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Communication with clients and vendors is conducted via telephone, e-mail, the Internet, and fax.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This role is based in an office environment and may require travel to offsite locations. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary. Clear verbal communication and the ability to use a telephone for extended periods are required.
