Job SummaryThe Line Supervisor is a key role in our manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process. This includes material preparation, blending, mixing, baking, packing, and palletizing. The successful candidate will ensure attainment of safety, quality, people, service, and cost targets for the line, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities- Direct Line Core Teams: Partner with supervisors and operators to deliver safety, quality, people, service, and cost targets. Drive yield waste reduction.
- Translate Business and Factory Targets: Deploy actionable line objectives to the team. Lead capacity planning for assets under control.
- Develop and Document Professional Growth Plans: Develop and execute training plans for team members.
- Manage Costs: Focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Drive problem-solving initiatives and track RCA completion.
- Participate in Production Planning and Recruitment: Focus on team development. Resolve team issues promptly per CBA/Kerry policies.
- Implement and Improve the Tier Cycle: Escalate issues for quick resolution. Conduct regular PDCA cycles to achieve targets.
- Develop and Execute OEE Building Block Strategy: Drive sustainable performance. Ensure line alignment with 1KPS and established processes.
- Ensure Machine Condition, Cleaning, and Improvement: Drive performance. Support maintenance and sanitation scheduling to reduce PM backlog.
- Resolve Issues Promptly: Demonstrate servant leadership.
- Participate in Performance Improvement & Network Improvement Teams: Act as key contact for line new initiatives and technology introductions. Provide historical data as needed and report progress on initiatives.
- Engineering Degree: Highly preferred.
- Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 8 years, ideally within a food/beverage manufacturing environment with 5 years at a supervisor/leadership role.
- TPM and Lean Systems Experience: Required.
- Microsoft Office and SAP Skills: Required.
- Leadership, Communication, and Organization Skills: Required.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Capabilities: Required.
The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually, based on several factors including education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. Kerry offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
