About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Director for Cardiac Surgery. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care and the development of our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to our nursing team, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Develop and implement clinical practice changes and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current registration in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • MSN or DNP or PhD, or a BSN with a master's degree in a related field, required.
  • Current certification in a relevant specialty, such as cardiac surgery or critical care.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a cardiac surgery or critical care setting.
