Cardiac Care Specialist

Boston Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Interventional Cardiology / Structural Heart Disease Service team.
Responsibilities- Manage and provide peri-procedural care for outpatient cardiac catheterization patients
- Coordinate Cardiac Valve Clinic and navigate patients through valve / structural heart workups
- Provide relevant medical services, including obtaining medical history, performing physical examinations, and prescribing medication
- Counsel patients and families, and perform other patient care duties
- MSN degree from a program accredited by the CCNE or ACEN
- Eligibility for a Massachusetts NP license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, with cardiology or cardiac surgery experience preferred
- Self-directed and able to exercise expert clinical judgment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical needs
