About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Professional to join our team at New River Electrical Corporation. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for vacant positions.
  • Draft job descriptions and standardized interview questions for hiring managers.
  • Manage recruiting firms and agencies to source high-quality candidates.
  • Analyze data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement recruitment processes and workflows.
  • Post and manage open positions and source candidates through various channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Verify candidate credentials and backgrounds.
  • Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Organize and attend networking events and job fairs.
  • Follow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with VISTA Software, MS Planner, and/or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) tools is preferred.
