Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and supportive work environment
* Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced nurses to enhance their clinical and leadership skills
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes
* Conduct regular quality assurance and performance improvement activities to identify areas for growth and development
Requirements:
* Current RN licensure in the state of New York
* Minimum 3 years of long-term care experience, with a focus on leadership and management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
